Description
The TEAMS project has launched two new services for MSP Project Evaluators, PIs, Co-PIs, and Project Directors: instrument reliability and validity assistance and a document review service.Instrument Reliability and Validity Assistance--Includes assistance with scale identification and definition, internal consistency analysis, content validity verification, formatting of results for sharing among evaluators, and dissemination of instruments with reliability and validity data at the construct level.
Document Review Service--Includes an objective review of evaluation plans and reports produced by MSP projects and constructive feedback provided through a confidential debriefing. The document review process utilizes a protocol based on current standards of evidence literature to foster evaluation rigor. The process is designed to open the lines of communication and foster collaborative relationship between MSP project staff and TEAMS staff.
MSP Project Evaluators, PIs, Co-PIs, and Project Directors are welcome to use the TEAMS online help desk service (http://teams.mspnet.org/) to contact TEAMS PI John Sutton and TEAMS Co-PI Dave Weaver to inquire about or request these services.
Technical Evaluation Assistance in Mathematics and Science (TEAMS; DRL Award #1454263) is a cooperative agreement with the National Science Foundation (NSF) to provide technical assistance on evaluation to NSF- and U.S. Department of Education-funded Mathematics and Science Partnership projects.
